Five Minute Friday: Empty

START

I am going to leave this life empty handed.  With only my soul.  So I am going to fill it with as much life and as many experiences as I can.

When I head over to be with Him forever, my life will be empty...meaning that I have lived all of it.  Every day.  Every moment.

My soul will be full.  Full of memories, love, friends, family and faith.

My list of regrets will be empty.
My dreams and hopes?  Accomplished.

* * *

My stomach may be empty, but the feeling doesn't bother me anymore.  I know that my life is in a better place because of that empty feeling.   And I am awe struck by it.  A shift has occurred, and nothing is getting in my way.

* * *

I am filled with such hope this morning, this post is rambling and varied and going nowhere.  But, it doesn't need to, does it?  It is filled with hope that I hope is contagious.
Choosing joy, and enjoying life.  Living every moment since we never know when the last one will be.  Being full of faith and happiness.  Seems like a good way to live to me.  How about you?

STOP

Joining up again, with The Gypsy Mama's Five Minute Friday. Head on over to learn more about it!

It is a good way to live, filling up on the joy emptying out of the what if. I was thinking about that this morning. That all this stuff that defines me and fills my rooms is irrelevant all that will be left in the end is my heart connected to Him and others!

for some reason, your words really hit me in such a beautiful way. While I do not really think of myself as materialistic, I sometimes find myself spending money on things that may just last a season (ie clothes). Clothes will not leave with me when my time comes, but all my memories of the life i lived will. I need to remember this more often.

Thank you for sharing :)

I love your daffodils - and that line when I hand my soul over to him, I want to leave this life empty handed - stunningly beautiful. I totally agree.
